Lady Furla

Furla is an exceptional assistance dog, recertified by the Doggy Village Foundation, who supports a hearing-impaired person in their daily life every single day.

🦻 Support in daily functioning

Furla has been trained to respond to key sounds – such as a doorbell, alarm, phone, or being called by name. She alerts her handler with a gentle touch and then leads her to the source of the sound. Thanks to this, her owner can function safely and independently.

💛 More than just help – true support

Beyond her role as a hearing dog, Furla also provides emotional support. She accompanies her handler through more difficult moments, providing a sense of security and stability. It is a relationship built on trust and daily cooperation.

✈️ Travels and real-world work

Furla travels the world with her owner – by plane, on public transport, and in various environments. She is an excellent example of an assistance dog working in practice – in the city, at the airport, in restaurants, and in new, demanding situations.

🌍 Education and awareness

During her travels, Furla helps spread awareness about assistance dogs, especially in the Middle East, including the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.

She demonstrates the immense role that assistance dogs play in a person's life and the importance of their presence and acceptance in public spaces.

🌈 Sophie – the assistance dog we will never forget

Sophie was an extraordinary assistance dog who, for many years, supported her owner – a person with hearing loss – every single day. In September 2026, Sophie passed away at the age of 14, leaving behind a great void, but also beautiful memories of the years they spent together.

🦻 Years of daily help

Sophie reacted to important environmental sounds and would alert her owner to things like the doorbell or being called. Thanks to her, daily life was calmer, safer, and more predictable.

💛 A unique bond

Sophie and her owner shared an extraordinary bond built on trust, understanding, and many years of life together. Sophie was not just an assistance dog – she was a partner, a friend, and a member of the family.

Over the years, their relationship evolved – as Sophie grew older, the roles began to reverse. For many years, Sophie took care of her owner, and later on, they supported each other.

🌿 14 years of a beautiful story

Sophie lived to a ripe old age of 14. Her story shows just how unique the relationship between a person and an assistance dog can be, and what a huge role such a dog can play in its owner's life.

🌈 In September, we said goodbye to Sophie, but her story will stay with us forever.

Thank you, Sophie, for all the years of work, love, loyalty, and support. 🐾💛
